Week 9 — Art Activity — Student Choice, Part 2

My original version was pretty close to this. I sketched it out and it really came to life the way I envisioned it.

My project really didn’t differ from my original version. I mean the primary difference is that this was done completely digitally while my first draft was a sketch on a piece of paper.

yes! I think my project was a major success. I love how simplistic it is. Im thinking of it as less is more.

I think my project got stronger because using digital art everything is really neat. It’s almost as if it’s perfect. I prefer it to normal drawing because you can always go back and change something without ruining your art work.

As I was doing this I definitely improved at better editing my pictures on my new laptop. I mean the more you practice the better you become. My piece does communicate what I want. It is a strong message layed out in a very simple way.

The only thing I would do differently with this project is to use a different program. I use PicMonkey, which is fairly simple and not many options. I want to switch Photoshop to really experiment with more possibilities.
